She was born in Santo Domingo in 1963. She has developed her work in Paris. She belongs to the generation of the 80s. She has a Master's degree in Fine Arts and Art Sciences from the Sorbonne. Her painting tries to find the space of history through the intimate and everyday object. In her compositions nothing is left over, nothing is superfluous, it is as if each element were elemental. She has been awarded the Grand Prize at the 8th Salon of Contemporary Painting in France (1983), Mention of the Jury at the XXVII International Painting Festival of Cagnes-Sur-Mer (1995), and the 2nd Prize (Drawing Category) at the IX Domecq Ibero-American Art Biennial, Mexico (1994), Honorable Mention at the X International Biennial of Valparaíso (1991).
